RING doorbells can be linked to the LRPD helping to make neighborhoods that cannot have entry surveillance feel more secure. " The doorbell-camera company Ring has forged video-sharing partnerships with more than 400 police forces across the United States, granting them potential access to homeowners' camera footage and a powerful role in what the company calls the nation's “new neighborhood watch.”

Thank you to our Crime and Prevention Committee's ongoing efforts to secure our neighborhood. It is important that we light up our homes as many of our streets are dark, know your neighbors and if you see something....say something. RING doorbells are helping to deter crime from occurring!

Jane McLellan and Major Joe Miller with LRPD (and a resident) distributed cameras to the winners which are pictured here. Committee Members Howard Massey (Chair) Mark Carter, Eli Fowlkes, Bill Maples,  Jane McLellan, Susan Meadors, Joe Miller, Dudley Moll, David Montague & Ron Snow plan a wonderful event every year which we hope to have again in the future.
